As we continue to grow and enhance the services we provide to our community, we are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Library Team Leader Operations to join our vibrant Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, guide and inspire the team, and deliver exceptional library services that connect and engage our community. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organisation that is expanding and committed to delivering exceptional library services and positive community outcomes.

· Deliver top-quality library services that delight our community.

· Guide, support, and train your amazing team.

· Keep branch operations running smoothly, from admin to building maintenance.

· Shape and uphold library policies and procedures.

· Lead day-to-day operations with confidence and flair.

· Build strong partnerships and foster positive relationships with external stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate A qualified and/or experienced library professional, holding tertiary qualifications in Librarianship recognized by ALIA or another relevant tertiary qualification. High customer service, passionate about delivering high-quality, community-focused library services in a branch setting.

A confident, people-focused leader who motivates teams, communicates clearly, and connects effectively with diverse audiences.

Across evolving library trends, you deliver responsive reader services and create vibrant, relevant collections.

A natural collaborator with a flair for connection—driving results through innovation, influence, and community engagement.
