About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and licensed Commercial/Industrial Electrician for upcoming projects in Hobart & Bellerive. Work involves commercial fitouts, IT rooms, AV installations and UPS systems,

This is NOT domestic wiring. You will be working on:

- Commercial / Industrial electrical installation & maintenance
- IT infrastructure - server rooms, comms rooms, data cabling support, patch panels
- AV systems - meeting rooms, conferencing systems, projectors, screens, sound
- UPS systems - installation, testing, battery replacement, fault finding for UPS

Key Responsibilities

- Commercial electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
- Installation and termination for IT/AV equipment - GPOs, UPS feeds, dedicated circuits
- UPS install, commissioning and preventative maintenance
- Work with IT teams, AV techs and other trades on site
- Testing, compliance and documentation - before/after photos,

- Maintain secure, clean work area per AS/NZS standards

Must Have Requirements

- Current TAS Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A-Grade) via CBOS
- White Card
- Proven Commercial / Industrial experience
- Demonstrated experience with IT / AV / UPS systems
- Own tools, PPE, reliable vehicle, and a valid driving license
- Smartphone + Public Liability Insurance

Highly Desirable

- Data / Comms licence (ACMA)
- UPS manufacturer training (APC, Eaton, Vertiv etc)
- Experience with commercial fitouts, offices, data centres
