Are you an organised logistics professional who enjoys keeping deliveries, freight and stock movements running smoothly?

Tefco Piping Systems is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Westbury. This is a hands-on coordination role where you'll be responsible for organising daily delivery runs, managing freight and transport bookings, coordinating stock movements and working closely with customers, transport providers and internal teams to keep everything moving on time.

You'll play an important role in connecting our Tasmanian operations with customers and sites across Tasmania and the Australian mainland.

What you'll be doing

- Coordinate and schedule daily delivery runs, including larger and more complex deliveries.

- Plan and prioritise transport requirements to meet customer deadlines.

- Arrange truck and trailer movements, including sea freight bookings to the mainland.

- Coordinate outsourced and third-party transport providers.

- Ensure the right equipment, including utes and trailers, is available where and when it's needed.

- Monitor stock allocations and coordinate stock movements with the Warehouse and Supply Chain teams.

- Prepare and process Stock Transfer Requests and associated documentation.

- Enter and maintain delivery jobs within the Proof of Delivery (POD) system.

- Keep freight bookings, stock transfers and delivery documentation accurate and up to date.

- Liaise with customers to confirm delivery requirements and timelines.

- Identify potential delivery or freight issues early and communicate these proactively.

About you

You'll be someone who can think ahead, stay organised and keep multiple moving parts under control. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change and strong communication is essential.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

- Good attention to detail and confidence working with systems and documentation.

- Experience in logistics, freight, transport, supply chain or another coordination-focused environment.

- Experience working with external providers, suppliers or contractors would be beneficial.

- Experience with POD, logistics or ERP systems would be advantageous.

- Experience with sea freight or interstate freight would be highly regarded.

- Good Microsoft Office skills.

While previous logistics experience would be an advantage, we're also open to candidates with strong transferable planning, coordination and problem-solving skills. Training will be provided to help the right person learn our systems, processes and logistics requirements.

The role

This is a full-time, five-day-per-week position based in Westbury. Early starts are preferred, as the beginning of the day is the busiest period for coordinating deliveries. Some flexibility may also be required around freight and transport bookings.
