/n We're partnering with an internationally recognised luxury fashion house to find a Quality Assurance Manager who understands the detail behind beautifully made garments and knows how to make quality consistent across a global production network.

/n Our client is a Melbourne-founded luxury fashion house with an international presence, creating distinctive bridal and ready-to-wear collections for a global customer.

/n Combining a strong creative identity with technical craftsmanship, the business works across local and offshore manufacturing partners to bring its collections to life.

/n Quality is central to the customer experience and this role is an opportunity to help shape how that standard is delivered across the business. ABOUT THE ROLE

/n Reporting to the Head of Production, you'll lead quality control across global operations, ensuring garments consistently meet the business's quality standards before reaching customers.

/n You'll manage a team of two QC Officers, work closely with Design and Production,



and collaborate with external factories and inspectors to identify issues, improve processes and maintain consistency.

/n This is a hands-on leadership role combining garment expertise, team development, quality systems and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING /n /n

- Develop and maintain quality control standards and procedures.

/n

- Oversee quality processes across multiple factories and locations.

/n

- Lead, coach and develop two QC Officers, setting clear KPIs.

/n

- Plan inspections and coordinate external quality inspectors.

/n

- Conduct factory visits, in-line inspections and process improvement activities.

/n

- Work with Design and Production to improve technical specifications and garment quality.

/n

- Identify recurring issues and address quality gaps at their source.

/n

- Support the handover of new bridal and ready-to-wear developments into production.

/n

- Review inspection findings and communicate transparent production feedback.

/n

- Maintain quality records, care and labelling manuals, and QC movements in NetSuite.

/n

- Coordinate repairs and ensure products are checked and approved before dispatch.

/n WHAT YOU'LL BRING/n /n

- At least five years' design and production experience in the apparel industry.

/n

- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrication and manufacturing.

/n





- In-depth understanding of garment technology and quality control.

/n

- Experience managing or developing junior team members.

/n

- The ability to identify issues quickly and find practical solutions.

/n

- Strong planning, communication and organisational skills.

/n

- Confidence working across Design, Development, Production and external partners.

/n

- Experience using NetSuite or a similar ERP system.

/n Bridal experience is preferred, but not essential. We're interested in apparel professionals who understand quality, craftsmanship and the technical realities of garment production./n
