Our Opportunity

Our cutting-edge facility in Dandenong South is now fully operational and we’re on the lookout for skilled Machine Operators to join our growing team with roles available on Day Shift.

About the Role

As an experienced Machine Operator, your role will be required to perform the following (but not limited to) duties:

Production & Equipment

- Setting up, preparing, and operating equipment for the Process Cheese, Shred, and Slice lines in line with daily production schedules and product requirements

- Oversee pre-start-up, start-up, shutdown, and changeover activities to ensure smooth, efficient transitions

- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to maintain consistent production flow

- Feed raw material blocks continuously into the hopper/loading station

- Prepare raw materials, including de-cartoning ingredients between low-care and high-care production rooms (up to 25kg)

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies are followed, upholding high standards of quality, safety, and compliance

- Monitor production and perform quality control checks

- Maintain control charts, including documenting, interpreting, verifying, and printing data, along with other product handling documentation





Safety & Hygiene

- Perform daily routine safety inspections of material handling equipment

- Carry out equipment and area sanitation (CIP & COP), including disassembly and reassembly for manual cleaning

- Maintain personal and food hygiene standards in line with company policy

- Store goods safely, cleanly, and hygienically

Team & Flexibility

- Work flexibly across shifts (early, afternoon, night, weekends); as a greenfield site, shift patterns are still being established and may change during commissioning and ramp-up

- Actively participate in all training programs

The following skills & experience that will put you ahead of other candidates.

- Previous experience working in the dairy/food/beverage industry

- Experience working with high-speed processing and packaging equipment

- Effective communication skills

- Can demonstrate understanding of GMP and HACCP principles

- Can demonstrate commitment to safe work practices and a strong safety-first mindset

- Physical readiness — this is an active role that involves standing, lifting (up to 25kgs) and moving throughout the shift

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hygiene-controlled environment.

PPE & onsite uniform are provided and there is ample car parking available.
