About the Role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager,
the Machine Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality structural steel components while maintaining best-practice standards and supporting efficient workflow through to the construction phase.
You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate CNC machinery in accordance with Australian Standards.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in the structural steel industry
- Ability to enter NC data files into CNC machinery
- High-risk forklift licence
- Current driver’s licence
- Good communication skills
Highly Regarded
- Basic NC data file programming skills
- General machine operating experience
- Hand and power tool experience
- Assembly experience
- Loading and unloading steel products
- Overhead crane experience
- Production machine setup experience
