We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance / Handyperson to join our friendly team at our beautiful Clontarf Aged Care Facility on a full-time permanent basis.In this important role, you will help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors and staff. From general repairs and preventative maintenance to grounds upkeep and contractor coordination, you'll play a key role in ensuring our facility operates smoothly and remains a place our residents are proud to call home.Your Tasks Will IncludeUndertaking general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance across the facilityPerforming minor building, installation and assembly tasksMaintaining buildings, furniture, equipment and mobility aidsAssisting with basic plumbing, painting and carpentry work as requiredCarrying out grounds maintenance, gardening and general upkeep of outdoor areasManaging refuse collection, bin placement and cleaningCompleting scheduled maintenance checks and maintaining maintenance recordsCoordinating with contractors and reporting maintenance issues to the Facility ManagerPerforming delivery, courier and driving duties as requiredMaintaining workshop, equipment and supplies to ensure safe operationIdentifying and reporting hazards, risks or security concerns promptlyAssisting to maintain a safe, tidy and presentable environment for residents and visitorsAbout YouYou are someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of older Australians.
