CareerBank is building a career development platform centred on a question: How can we understand human potential more accurately and help people put it to work?

Our work brings together career research, structured guidance, technology and partnerships. We aim to help students and professionals recognise their capabilities, build evidence of their skills and identify opportunities suited to them. We are looking for Management Trainee Interns who want to contribute to that work while gaining practical experience across a growing organisation.

A) The role

This is a fully remote internship reporting directly to CareerBank’s management team. Interns will be assigned a defined area of work based on their studies, skills and the needs of current projects. You will be expected to research thoroughly, communicate your findings clearly and take responsibility for agreed deliverables.

Depending on your assignment, your responsibilities may include:

• Researching career pathways, skills, industries, education trends and emerging opportunities

• Supporting business development through market research, partner mapping and proposal preparation

• Helping coordinate projects and preparing reports, presentations and progress updates

• Supporting engagement with universities, colleges, faculty members, government agencies and other organisations

• Developing social media content that makes career research and guidance useful to a wider audience

• Contributing to AI programming, data analysis or digital product development where your technical skills are relevant

• Documenting processes and identifying practical ways to improve how work is done





You will not be expected to cover every function. We will agree on a focus that gives you meaningful work and explicit learning goals.

B) Who should apply

We welcome current students and recent graduates in business, management, entrepreneurship, economics, marketing, communications, education, psychology, social sciences, public policy, international relations, computer science, AI, data science, linguistics and related fields. Students from other disciplines are also encouraged to apply if they can show a relevant interest or skill.

We are particularly interested in applicants who can work with information carefully, ask thoughtful questions, write clearly, manage their time and follow through on commitments. You should be comfortable receiving feedback and working independently in a remote setting.

Additional language capabilities are welcome, including Mandarin Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, Turkish, Arabic, Urdu and other languages. Women, men and applicants of all genders are welcome to apply.

C) How we work The internship is conducted entirely remotely using Google Workspace and Google Meet. Interns report to management, and meetings will be arranged with consideration for the time zone in which each candidate lives. You will need reliable internet access and a suitable place to participate in virtual meetings.

We also welcome referrals from university and college faculty, particularly where an internship assignment can complement a student’s academic learning.
