Junior Administration Assistant / Receptionist
We are currently expanding our administration team and have created a new role for an entry level/junior Administration Assistant/ Receptionist. On-the-job training will be provided as well as the ability to complete a Certificate III in Business Administration as part of the training for this role
This is a full-time, office-based, junior role located in Kelvin Grove
Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be well presented, eager to learn and available to start as soon as possible

About the Role
The role of Junior Administration Assistant / Receptionist sits within Easec’s Corporate Services team and provides vital administrative support to enable the effective operations of the business. You will ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in administrative activities
Your Tasks and responsibilities will include:
Being the first point of contact for clients, customers, and staff both in-person and other communication channels through reception and customer service duties. This includes answering and directing phone calls, welcoming clients, and actioning tasks in shared inboxes
Providing general administration support to our Consultants and the Leadership team including: sending documents to clients for electronic signing, uploading documents to customer portals, booking appointments, meeting rooms and travel
Ensuring the reception area is neat and presentable and shared spaces are clean, tidy, and stocked
Accurate data entry and database coordination
Scanning, filing, and organising paperwork
Escalating complex matters to the appropriate team member
Handling sensitive and confidential information
This is an entry level opportunity with the view of being a long-term administration role, with opportunity to progress in the future
Complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business (Administration) if you haven’t already
Full-time role, Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience, skills, and personal qualities:
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook, and ability to learn other databases and systems
Passionate about learning and building practical business skills in a real workplace
Reliable and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude toward new challenges
Awesome communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with a broad range of stakeholders
Able to manage your time well, even when things get busy
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and reporting
Robust problem-solving skills and comfortable taking initiative
