We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Underground Jumbo Operator . As an integral part of the team, this is a key production role responsible for delivering high-quality underground drilling operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Working on a 7/7 days & nights rotational roster, this position is available on a residential or DIDO, basis.
n
Duties will entail the following, however not limited to:
n
n
- Operate underground jumbo drilling rigs safely and efficiently in line with site procedures and operational requirements
n
- Execute drilling activities with accuracy and attention to production targets and ground support standards
n
- Collaborate closely with Technical Services, Planning, and Underground Operations teams to achieve daily and weekly mine plans
n
- Conduct pre-start inspections, routine equipment checks, and basic maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability
n
- Identify and report equipment faults, hazards, and operational issues promptly
n
- Complete accurate operational reporting and documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and team culture

About You n
To be successful, you will bring the following skills, experience and personal attributes:

- Demonstrated experience operating underground jumbo drill rigs in an underground hard rock mining environment
n
- Strong understanding of underground mining safety standards and safe work practices
n
- Ability to read and interpret mine plans, drill patterns, and technical drawings
n
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine equipment inspections and minor maintenance
n
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a remote team environment
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
n
- Commitment to maintaining high productivity while prioritising safety and quality outcomes
n
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to mining protocols.
