About the Role
Our client in Laverton North is seeking a reliable Manual Sorter / Forklift Driver to join their recycling operations team. This position is primarily a production-based role, consisting of approximately 95% manual sorting work and 5% forklift operation.
What's Involved?
✅ Sorting plastics and recyclable materials on a production line
✅ Identifying and separating recyclable items into designated areas
✅ Manual handling and repetitive lifting tasks
✅ Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
✅ Assisting with forklift duties when required
✅ Following workplace health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
✔ Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
✔ Previous experience in manual sorting, recycling, waste management, production, or manufacturing environments is preferred
✔ Comfortable with repetitive manual work and standing for extended periods
✔ Solid attention to detail and safety awareness
✔ Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
✔ Ability to work as part of a team
