Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Master Scheduler (In Plain Sight ICT Program). In this role, you will report to the IPS ICT Senior Program Manager and provide expertise in schedule management across multiple project schedules. You will support the program through monitoring, control, and progress reporting to assist program leadership in achieving key milestones, anticipating resource requirements, and delivering high-value project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a schedule management plan, outlining schedule quality standards and the process for developing and maintaining schedules.
- Work directly with Project Managers to develop and maintain project schedules within the IPS ICT Program, identifying key milestones and critical paths.
- Liaise regularly with project and program managers, business analysts, technical resources, vendors, and external government agencies to manage dependencies and schedules.
- Evaluate project and program schedules, progress, and performance, proactively identifying developing risks, issues, and appropriate escalations.
- Develop and maintain Dependency registers for projects and programs across the Enterprise Delivery Portfolio.
- Apply pragmatic alignment of schedules to the DCMA 14-point schedule assessment.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Project Qualified to develop and manage complex project and program schedules.
- Proven experience developing schedules aligned to strong governance frameworks and Prince2 / Agile / Hybrid methodologies within a large organisation.
- Ability to work independently, follow through on assignments with minimal direction, and coordinate resources and timelines based on data analysis.
- Strong collaborative skills to interact effectively with program leaders, subject matter experts, user representatives, technical architects, and external government entities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or professional accreditations in Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP/PMBOK, Agile/SAFe) are highly desirable.
