Want a FIFO driving role with a settled crew, your own room on site, and a business that services major mining operations in the Goldfields? Our client, an established waste management business, is adding five drivers to its Leonora team.

About Our Client

Our client is a West Australian-owned waste management business with branches across the Goldfields and Mid West. It works mainly for the mining and resources sector and handles liquid and solid waste, industrial vacuum work, hydrocarbon bins, waste oil and recyclables.

Its operators live in Leonora permanently, so clients get the same people every time. That consistency has built a stable team of about 20 drivers on site, and they're growing it now.

What's On Offer

- Roster: 12 days on / 7 off / 9 on / 7 off, so every swing ends with a full week at home
- Shifts: 12 hours, day shift only (6:00am–6:00pm), with no night rotation
- Pay: salary if you're based in Leonora, hourly rates if you're based in Kalgoorlie
- Accommodation: modern and well kept, with your own permanent room and private bathroom
- Meals and crib supplied
- $60/month phone allowance
- FIFO flights Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with a 15kg baggage allowance
- Long-term work with a stable crew

The Fleet

MC: Scania automatic road trains, double road trains and tipper combinations

HR: Skip bin trucks, vacuum trucks and a front lift truck The Opportunity

You'll move and collect waste for mine sites and other clients around Leonora.



The loads include septic waste, wastewater, groundwater and waste oil. The work is wide-ranging and hands-on, and it's run to strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Transport and collect waste materials
- Operate skip bin and vacuum trucks
- Haul septic waste, wastewater, groundwater and oil waste
- Strap and secure bins by hand
- Follow site safety procedures

About You

You're a reliable, safety-focused driver who likes being part of a steady crew. You're fit and happy doing manual handling as part of the job. Waste industry experience is highly regarded, but if you've driven heavy vehicles in mining, construction, bulk haulage or civil, your experience will count.

Requirements

- Current MC or HR licence
- Controlled Waste Licence
- National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
