With 16 medical practices within our network, Ausdocs Group is always on the lookout for Medical Receptionists to join our team. With locations currently spanning across Queensland and more opportunities on the way, we're open to receiving Expressions of Interest anytime of the year.

Typical Medical Reception Responsibilities:

- Front desk management including all administration duties - answering phone enquiries, making and confirming appointments, processing and managing patient accounts etc.
- Maintenance of Best Practice patient database (all our practices use BP)
- Processing and receipting payments
- General housekeeping and upkeep of reception area and Doctors consulting rooms

About you

You'll typically be an experienced Receptionist that can work autonomously and efficiently. You are motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy being a part of a fun and dynamic team.

Skills & Experience:





- Minimum 12 months experience as a medical receptionist (preferred)
- Experience with Best Practice software (preferred)
- Familiar with processing and receipting payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover and Medicare billing
- Comprehension of and dedication to patient confidentiality
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual

Part-time or casual hourly rates will be in accordance with Fair Work covered under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (Contemporary Award) dependent on level of experience ($25 - 35 / hour superannuation as a guide).
