Brisbane Neurology is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive specialist practice in South Brisbane. This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week over 5 days.

Our team includes neurologists, a neuropsychiatrist, practice nurse, neuroscientists, and medical reception staff. We are a friendly, professional and supportive practice committed to providing high-quality patient care.

About the role In this role, you will be an important first point of contact for patients, doctors and other medical professionals. You will support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice by providing qualified, efficient and caring reception and administrative support.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answering phone calls and managing email enquiries
- Booking,



confirming and billing appointments
- Maintaining accurate patient information and records
- Liaising with doctors, patients and other medical practices
- Supporting clinical and administrative staff with day-to-day tasks
- Following practice systems, protocols and confidentiality requirements

About you

We are looking for someone who is reliable, efficient, organised and genuinely enjoys working with people. You will thrive in a busy specialist medical environment and be able to multitask while remaining calm, focused and compassionate.

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous medical reception experience, highly desirable
- Experience with Xestro or other medical software, preferred
- Neurology or specialist practice experience, advantageous
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to multitask in a busy environment
- A warm, caring and professional manner
- Strong teamwork skills
- A commitment to patient confidentiality at all times
