St Vincent’s Heart in BONDI JUNCTION Sydney are seeking a Medical Secretary and Administrator to join our team in a small Cardiology Specialist Medical Practice.

We are open Mon-Fri 8.00am – 6.00pm and need extra secretaries to each work at least 19 hours per week, with specific availability on Tuesday and Thursday. We also require staff who are flexible and willing to work at both our Bondi Junction and Burwood sites.

Able to maintain patient confidentiality;

Able to manage people in difficult situations;

Excellent team player who takes direction;

IT savvy – ability to negotiate intuitive web-based software (Halaxy, Fax.plus, HPOS, Zoho);





Medical secretary experience, particularly in a specialist practice, is an advantage.

Role: Customer service, maintaining appointment system and patient database, patient information handling, requesting data from health professionals and hospitals, answering phones, taking messages, taking payments, billing, mail collection sorting, sending correspondence (fax, mail, e-mail or secure messaging), processing Medicare claims and rebates, consumable ordering, general tidy of clinical rooms and patient areas.

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Pay: $27.00 – $35.50 per hour

Experience

- Medical administrative support: 1 year (Preferred)
