Health Lounge is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual/part-time 30 hours per week basis in our Auburn, NSW 2144 location. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality general medical and surgical nursing care to our patients. What you'll be doing

Clinical Care:Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, performing treatments, wound management, venepuncture (optional), and administering medications and immunisations to all age groups (child and adult).

Aesthetic Services Support:Assisting GPs or cosmetic physicians during aesthetic procedures (e.g., minor skin procedures, cosmetic injections, laser treatments) and providing pre/post-procedure care, patient education, and follow-ups.

Chronic Disease Management:Playing a central role in developing, implementing, and monitoring GP Chronic Conditions Care Plans (GPCCMPs) for patients with chronic conditions.

Preventative Health:Coordinating and conducting Health Assessments and actively promoting health education and lifestyle improvements.

Practice Management:Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, and timely patient records in our clinical software, managing recall and reminder systems, cold chain management, and infection control procedures.

Triage and Support:Assisting with patient triage to prioritise care needs and providing support during minor procedures and medical emergencies.

Quality Improvement:Actively participating in quality improvement activities and contributing to the practice's accreditation process to meet the RACGP Standards for General Practice.





What we're looking for

Registration:Current, unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with theAustralian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency(AHPRA).

Experience:Previous experience working in a general practice or primary healthcare setting is highly regarded. Experience in an aesthetic or cosmetic clinical setting is highly advantageous.

Certifications:Nurse immuniser certification and current CPR certification are a distinct advantages.

Attributes

Excellent communication, interpersonal, time-management, management, and team-building skills.

A compassionate, patient-focused approach with an understanding of cultural safety principles.

Proficiency in using clinical and administrative computer software.
