BUMP Mitcham is looking for a confident, energetic and people-focused Membership Sales & Reception Consultant to join our team on a casual basis.

You’ll be one of the first faces our members and prospective members see, helping create a warm, welcoming and professional experience from the moment they walk through the door.

This isn’t your typical reception role.

You’ll be welcoming members, helping women begin their fitness journey, conducting gym tours, following up membership enquiries and playing an important role in growing the BUMP community.

About the Role

As a Casual Membership Sales & Reception Consultant, you’ll be an important part of both our member experience and continued growth.

This role is predominantly focused on morning shifts, with our regular shift time being:

- Morning: 8:30am – 11:30am

There may also be opportunities to assist with afternoon/evening shifts from 4:15pm – 7:15pm, primarily to provide leave cover and additional team support when required.

We are therefore looking for someone with strong and reliable morning availability,



along with some flexibility to assist with afternoon/evening shifts from time to time.

Sales

- Follow up new membership enquiries via phone, SMS and email
- Conduct gym tours and membership consultations
- Convert enquiries into memberships
- Manage leads through our CRM
- Work towards membership sales targets
- Support promotional campaigns and member referrals
- Build genuine relationships with prospective members and help them find the right membership option

Reception
- Welcome members and visitors
- Answer phone and email enquiries
- Assist members with bookings and account enquiries
- Support new member onboarding
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Maintain a clean, professional and welcoming reception area

Administration
- Update member records
- Complete general administrative tasks
- Assist with sales reporting
- Track membership enquiries and lead conversions
- Support marketing with occasional photos and videos
- Assist the wider BUMP team with day-to-day studio operations

About You

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 1 year’s experience in sales
- Previous reception, customer service or administration experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software
- Current Working with Children Check
- Strong availability for 8:30am – 11:30am morning shifts
- Flexibility to assist with 4:15pm – 7:15pm afternoon/evening shifts for leave cover when required

Highly Regarded
- Experience in the fitness, health or wellness industry
- Experience using CRM or membership management software
- Previous experience in membership-based sales
