Aldiva Autos is a used-car dealership and vehicle-holding yard located in Homebush, NSW. Our primary business activity is buying and selling quality used vehicles, rather than operating as a standalone automotive repair business. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic (General) to join our team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and preparing used vehicles for sale, ensuring they meet all safety, quality, and roadworthiness standards. In addition, the role involves carrying out vehicle inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work for dealership stock, as well as providing after-sales mechanical support to customers when required.

What You'll Do

· Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools.

· Dismantle and repair engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components.

· Replace worn or defective parts and reassemble components to manufacturer standards.

· Perform routine servicing such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups.

· Test and adjust systems to ensure proper performance and safety.

· Use computerised equipment to identify and assess faults.

· Inspect vehicles and report on defects or roadworthiness requirements.

· Inspect, service, and prepare vehicles for sale and customer delivery.





· Conduct vehicle inspections and report on defects or roadworthiness requirements.

· Maintain accurate service and repair records.

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

What You'll Have

· Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic.

· Sound knowledge of methods, techniques, tools, parts, and materials used in vehicle maintenance and repair, including diagnostics, hydraulic systems, braking systems, and electronic vehicle systems.

· Experience using diagnostic scan tools and following diagnostic procedures.

· Experience working with hybrid vehicles will be highly regarded.

· Robust customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
