This is a hands-on role working closely with management to develop referral opportunities and build strong professional relationships within the NDIS and disability sector. You will actively make connections, communicate with referral partners, follow up opportunities and help develop a strong referral network.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with Support Coordinators and Plan Managers.
- Build relationships with allied health professionals, hospital social workers, community organisations and other relevant referral sources.
- Identify potential referral opportunities for suitable participants requiring SIL accommodation and support.
- Introduce All Saints for Care and our Robina SIL home to relevant professionals and referral networks.
- Make regular contact with referral partners and maintain professional communication.
- Follow up enquiries, referrals and potential opportunities.
- Arrange meetings, introductions and property inspections with potential participants, families and referral partners.
- Build and maintain an organised referral database and follow-up system.
- Attend relevant networking meetings,
industry events and professional meetings where appropriate.
- Keep management updated on referral activity, contacts, opportunities and outcomes.
About you
- Previous experience in NDIS, SIL, disability or community services.
- Experience in business development, referral generation, partnerships or relationship management.
- Strong understanding of NDIS referral pathways.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence communicating with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, allied health professionals and other NDIS stakeholders.
- Strong follow-up skills and the ability to build genuine professional relationships.
- A proactive and independent approach.
- Excellent organisation and record-keeping skills.
- The ability to represent All Saints for Care professionally.
- A genuine interest in helping connect suitable participants with appropriate supports and accommodation.
