Experienced Disability Support Workers Wanted – Urgent

We’re looking for experienced, energetic and reliable support workers for a 23-year-old female and her 10-year-old brother in a rural/farm environment.

We’re a busy household and like to keep support fun and active – community outings, group sport, fitness, activities, shopping, animals and generally getting out and doing things. We’re not really a “sit at the table playing cards all day” household.

Shifts include:

- Day, evening, weekend & active overnight shifts – 23-year-old female
- 4–5 hour shifts – 10-year-old male
- 10–12 hour weekend, school holiday & public holiday shifts

What we need:

- Previous experience with high/complex needs, behaviours of concern and high-needs children
- Confident with personal care
- Resilient with a thick skin and able to handle challenging moments without taking things personally
- Transparent spoken and written English and, importantly, able to clearly understand detailed instructions. Please don't apply if communication is going to require instructions being repeatedly explained throughout the day.




- Comfortable around animals and happy to help with the participants’ daily animal-care responsibilities
- Your own reliable vehicle to get to and from work – no drop-offs. We are rural and you need access to your own vehicle in case of an emergency. A vehicle is provided for participant transport during shifts.
- Reliable, punctual and genuinely interested in being involved

We urgently need reliable staff so Mum can return to work. Please don't book a trial unless you're committed to attending. If you cancel or don't attend your first shift, another shift generally won't be offered – we simply don't have time to keep waiting at home for trials that don't turn up.

There are plenty of hours for the right people, and we want workers who can have a laugh, get involved and become a reliable part of the team.
