Occupational Therapist - Grade 1 and 2

About the Role

At Better Health Network (BHN), you'll work with a diverse client group, be supported by an experienced Occupational Therapy team, and have the opportunity to grow your skills and collaborate with a large multidisciplinary team.

Adult Occupational Therapist

Support adults with chronic and complex health needs to build independence and improve quality of life through practical, person-centred care.

- Complete assessments, care planning and home visits

- Recommend assistive technology, equipment and home modifications

- Support clients to navigate aged care and community funding pathways

- Provide education, coaching and self-management strategies

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary allied health team





Paediatric Occupational Therapist

- Help children build the skills and confidence to participate more fully at home, school and in the community.

- Assess and support motor skills, play, self-regulation and executive functioning

- Develop individualised, family-centred therapy plans

- Deliver individual and group-based interventions

- Partner with families, clinicians, schools and community services

- Contribute to best practice, quality improvement and team development

About You

You're a motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys building relationships, working collaboratively and helping people achieve what matters most to them.

You'll bring:

- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility for registration)

- Experience or knowledge in functional assessments, home modifications and assistive technology

- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and high-quality client care
