/n Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar – Coastal QLD Experience in a Modern Regional Facility

Fraser Coast Region | Full time | Fixed-Term /n Step into a hands-on O&G; role in one of Queensland’s most scenic coastal locations. /n We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Prevocational Registrars (REG1–REG6) to join a supportive, expanding Women’s Health team at a busy regional hospital located in the vibrant Fraser Coast area. /n The Role/n This full-time, fixed-term opportunity offers excellent clinical exposure across a range of obstetrics and gynaecology services in a growing regional facility equipped with state-of-the-art maternity and surgical theatres. You'll be working in a modern, mid-sized hospital that supports a high birth rate and a diverse patient population across urban and rural communities. /n Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities/n /n

- Deliver inpatient and outpatient care in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal settings

/n

- Manage general gynaecology and perioperative patients under supervision

/n

- Participate in theatre lists, birthing suite management, clinics, and ward rounds

/n

- Provide after-hours coverage (night shifts, weekends, on-call) once credentialed

/n

- Assist in supervising junior doctors and contribute to medical student education

/n

- Engage in ongoing learning, audits, teaching,



and quality improvement initiatives

/n /n Who You Are/n /n

- Eligible for General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia

/n

- Completed at least 6 months’ clinical experience in O&G; as an RMO

/n

- Robust clinical communication and teamwork skills

/n

- Passion for women’s health, rural/regional medicine, and improving maternal outcomes

/n

- A team player who values supportive supervision and a positive culture
