- Delivers alcohol and other drug community development, prevention and early intervention programs within the project's rural and remote communities.

- Liaises with the Aboriginal Health Program Officer of the Drug and Alcohol Office regarding the specific supports required for the implementation of the program.

What you need

n

n




- Demonstrated experience working effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, including the development and delivery of culturally secure health education, prevention, and community development initiatives.
n
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services, including counselling, harm minimisation approaches, and awareness of relevant community health and support services.
n
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build robust relationships, work collaboratively within a team, and operate effectively with a high degree of autonomy.
