The Role

This is a coordination role at the sharp end of logistics. Every job is urgent, most are one-offs, and the plan often changes halfway through. You will be the person who keeps shipments moving, keeps customers informed and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You will work closely with the operations team, drivers and airline partners to get critical freight from A to B as fast as possible.

What You'll Be Doing

- Coordinating urgent domestic and international shipments from booking through to delivery
- Booking freight on the fastest available routings with airlines and partners
- Arranging pickups and deliveries with the driver team
- Tracking shipments in real time and stepping in early when something looks like slipping
- Keeping customers updated clearly and proactively, especially when things change
- Preparing and checking shipping documentation




- Liaising with airlines, ground handlers, agents and customers under time pressure
- Keeping job records and system entries accurate so billing is clean
- Supporting the roster, including approximately one weekend per month

What You'll Bring

- Experience in freight forwarding, air freight, courier or logistics operations
- A calm head when things go wrong, and the ability to find another way
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Good attention to detail and solid organisation
- Comfort with some flexibility around hours, and availability for approximately one weekend per month on the roster
- A reliable, switched-on approach. You own your jobs and follow them through
- Air freight or aviation exposure is a real advantage, but not essential for the right person
