And we’re not stopping there. /n We are looking for an experienced Operations Team Lead to oversee day-to-day operations and service availability across a critical ICT environment.

This role is based in ACT or SA and is offered as a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension. You’ll provide operational leadership, coordinate technical teams and stakeholders, and help ensure services remain secure, available and aligned with operational requirements. /n

Requirements/n

/nWhat You’ll Do/n /n

- Lead the day-to-day operational management of critical ICT services and components.

/n

- Monitor service availability and investigate outages, service disruptions and breaches of service targets.

/n

- Coordinate remedial activities and drive timely issue resolution.

/n

- Provide advice on service availability, operational planning, service improvement and performance.

/n

- Act as a central coordination point between technical teams, management and senior leadership.

/n

- Prioritise resources, activities and operational requirements across teams.

/n

- Ensure leadership teams have the information and resources required to support ongoing operations and change.

/n

- Lead and coordinate investigations into operational and security incidents.

/n

- Engage with a broad range of stakeholders and communicate complex technical matters clearly.

/n

- Develop and present recommendations, gaining stakeholder agreement on proposed outcomes.

/n

- Support the maintenance of security requirements, operational processes and documentation.

/n

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across operational services and processes.

/n What You’ll Bring/n /n

- Demonstrated experience leading or managing ICT operations, network,



infrastructure or secure service capabilities within a large and complex environment.

/n

- Strong operational leadership and service management experience.

/n

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with senior executives and technical teams.

/n

- Solid problem-solving and issue-resolution capabilities.

/n

- Experience navigating complex technical and operational environments to develop and maintain effective solutions.

/n

- Experience managing service levels, operational performance and continuous improvement activities.

/n

- Strong understanding of ICT operations, service availability and incident management.

/n

- Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Essential Eight would be highly regarded.

/n

- Familiarity with technologies such as firewalls, DNS security, CASB, DLP and SIEM/SOAR would be advantageous.

/n

- Understanding of enterprise identity and authentication concepts, including SAML, LDAP/AD and Kerberos, would be beneficial.

/n

- Relevant industry certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, Broadcom/Symantec SWG or CompTIA Security+ would be highly regarded.
