At Benowa Early Learning Centre, part of Childcare Centre's of Excellence Pty Ltd, we strive to give the children in our care a diverse range of experiences, create strong connections and relationships and help them acquire a wealth of new skills and knowledge through our play-based curriculum. Our play-based curriculum is designed to nurture strong connections, foster inclusivity, and encourage exploration of their surroundings. We understand and implement the importance of inclusivity in all aspects of learning and allow child led moments, connecting with their natural surroundings and following their interests.

What We're Searching For:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator to join and lead our dynamic OSHC team. In this role, you will engage with children before and after school through age-appropriate activities, support their routines, and ensure their overall well-being and safety. If you are passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of our youngest learners, we want to hear from you!

What this position looks like:

- Full time OR Permanent Part Time.
- OSHC Educator/Coordinator shifts are flexible and allow more time for study, family or fun providing a greater work life balance.
- This position is Monday to Friday with afternoon / morning split shifts such as 6:30AM - 10:00AM and/or 2:30pm-6:30pm with the option to add on hours as they become available and over Vacation Care periods.

Essential Criteria/Key Resonsibilities needed:





- Hold a current Certificate III and or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA. We may consider applicants that are working towards these qualifications, as well as a Bachelor of Education.
- Current Working with Children Check / Blue Card
- Current CPR Certificate and Senior First Aid (or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
- New Child Safety (GECKO) Training Completed (prior to starting)
- High level of communication skills and the ability and willingness to work across all age groups.
- Uphold regulatory requirements according to the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, delivering exceptional education and care.
- To be able to build strong relationships with families and colleagues to understand and accommodate each child's needs and preferences.
- To be able to foster positive behaviours and social skills by encouraging independence, exploration, and problem-solving in a nurturing environment.
- To be able to confidently Lead and mentor fellow educators, creating a safe, clean, and healthy setting
- To be able to complete documentation in a qualified, consistent and timely manner.
- To be able to confidently supervise and engage with children
