Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Be the first point of contact for patients attending our family medical practice
- Assist in providing exceptional care and customer service to patients of all ages
- Answer multi-lined telephones and take responsibility for follow-up actions including correspondence with other medical practices and booking appointments for patients.
- Process payments and invoices from GP's , specialists and allied health staff with ability to troubleshoot any billing issues (Medicare billing, Private Health Insurance, Private billing)
- Use Best Practice Software and HotDoc for appointment bookings and scheduling
- Multitask and prioritise during peak times while maintaining a professional manner
- Work independently in high pressure environments
- Management of the waiting area including patient flow and tidiness
- Running errands
- Stocking medical supplies and maintaining cleanliness of doctor’s rooms
- Basic cleaning of medical centre
- Sorting and sending mail




- Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Keep up to date with CPR and First Aid certifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday availability (must be able to commit to these days)
- Ability to work shifts between 7:30am - 3pm and/or 10am- 6:30pm
- Ability to work in both Windsor area and The Ponds
- Strong management and organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Qualified, compassionate and caring
- An enthusiastic team player
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and take responsibility
- Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
