About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team and contribute to the preparation and production of a variety of high-quality Danishes, pastries, tarts, cakes, gateau and other baked goods. This role is suited to a detail-oriented professional who excels in pastry preparation, food safety, and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Croissant, Danishes. pastry products, including tarts, cakes.
- Check the quality of raw materials, weigh ingredients, and ensure consistency in recipes.
- Mix, knead, roll, and shape dough and pastry fillings.
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure quality production.
- Blind bake tarts, prepare lemon curd, frangipane, and cake mixtures.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with icing, glazes, and finishing touches.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas.
- Monitor food display and presentation in the front of house.
- Oversee and guide staff members.




- Conduct daily checks on fridge temperatures and food storage.
- Receive and organise deliveries, ensuring stock rotation.

Skills and Experience:

- Formal qualification at a Certificate IV level in a relevant culinary field
- If no formal qualification is held, 3 years of relevant work experience is required
- Experience in a high-volume bakery, pastry shop, or café environment.
- Strong understanding of baking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time Pay: $27.80 – $32.00 per hour
