Australian Inclusion Group (AIG) is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer who knows their way around a pay run, takes pride in getting the details right, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

This is more than a transactional payroll role. Alongside managing end-to-end payroll across Australian Inclusion Group, Inclusion WA and Inclusion Solutions, you’ll support key people administration processes including contracts, onboarding, employee records and offboarding.

You’ll work closely with our Accountant, People & Culture Lead and CEO, giving you strong organisational visibility and the opportunity to genuinely improve the way we do things.

What you’ll be doing

As our Payroll Officer,



you’ll take responsibility for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll across multiple entities while supporting the administration of the employee lifecycle.

Your role will include

- Managing end-to-end payroll and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Reviewing timesheets, leave, allowances, deductions and employee changes before each pay run.
- Administering superannuation, salary packaging and paid parental leave.
- Responding to payroll enquiries and working with managers to resolve discrepancies.
- Preparing employment contracts and variations based on approved employment arrangements.
- Coordinating new employee onboarding and maintaining accurate employee and compliance records.
- Supporting employee offboarding and final pay processing.
- Preparing payroll reports, reconciliations and information for audit and statutory reporting.
- Working with Finance and People & Culture to maintain compliance with legislation and the SCHADS Award.

About you

You’ll be someone who genuinely cares about getting payroll right. You’re organised, dependable and comfortable taking responsibility for deadlines, while still being approachable when an employee needs help understanding their pay.

You’ll ideally bring

- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end payroll.




- An Understanding of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, taxation and leave requirements.
- Experience applying modern awards, with SCHADS Award experience strongly preferred.
- Confidence working with payroll data, reconciliations and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to spot when something doesn’t look right.
- Experience using payroll and HR systems; MYOB Advanced and Sentrient experience would be highly regarded.

You don’t need to be an HR specialist. What matters is that you’re a strong payroll professional who is comfortable supporting the administrative side of the employee lifecycle and working closely with our People & Culture team.
