COMPANY INFO PCD Civil Retaining Walls are an expanding Civil Supply & Installation for concrete sleeper retaining wall company and we are looking for an experienced Estimator/Draftsperson to join the team. You’ll be involved in a diverse and challenging scope of works, our office is based in Narangba Industrial Hub, North of Brisbane.

About The Role n

PCD Civil Retaining Walls are an expanding Civil Supply & Installation for concrete sleeper retaining wall company and we are looking for an experienced Estimator/Draftsperson to join the team. You’ll be involved in a diverse and challenging scope of works, our office is based in Narangba Industrial Hub, North of Brisbane.

Experience/Skillset n

n
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Estimating or Draftsperson position in Construction
n
- Drafting qualifications highly preferred but not required
n
- Robust English communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal staff, subcontractors and the management team
n
- Experienced with the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, proficient is highly essential in AutoCAD and Revit
n




- Understanding of Construction terminology and processes in terms with engineering principles
n

ROLE DUTIES nn
- Determining construction methods, materials, quality standards, drafting, interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures.
n
- Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, civil plans, specifications, and related documents
n
- Identify labour, material, time requirements by studying proposals, civil plans, specifications, and related documents
n
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
n
- Present prepared estimate by assembling, displaying numerical and descriptive information
n
- Ensure all plans comply with building requirements
n

PACKAGE nn
- $80,000 – $100,000 + Super (Negotiable depending on experience)
n
