Institute of Sports and Spines | Tingalpa, Brisbane

Are you a physiotherapist looking for a role where you can focus on treating patients rather than spending months trying to build a caseload?

Institute of Sports and Spines (IOSAS) is looking for a Physiotherapist to join our established multidisciplinary allied health team in Tingalpa.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into an existing patient base with strong referral levels, supported by an experienced clinical team, reception staff and excellent rehabilitation facilities.

We are looking for a physiotherapist who enjoys musculoskeletal practice, values collaborative care and wants to continue developing professionally.

Why join IOSAS?An established caseload from the start

You will have the opportunity to take over an existing physiotherapy patient base, supported by ongoing referrals from within the clinic, local healthcare professionals and our established patient community.

You won't be expected to build a practice from scratch.

Attractive remuneration

We offer a highly competitive remuneration package, with excellent conditions available for the right candidate.

We recognise the value of experienced clinicians and are happy to discuss a structure that reflects your skills, experience and contribution to the clinic.

Flexible working hours

We believe a successful clinical career should also allow room for life outside work.

Where possible, your consulting hours can be structured around your lifestyle and the needs of the clinic.

Excellent clinical and rehabilitation facilities

Our clinic includes

- Fully equipped rehabilitation and exercise gym
- Dedicated treatment rooms
- Exercise and rehabilitation equipment
- Clinical and educational resources
- Experienced reception and administrative support
- Established systems for bookings, billing and patient management

- Physiotherapists
- Chiropractors
- Exercise Physiologists
- Exercise and Sports Scientists
- Remedial and Musculoskeletal Therapists
- Acupuncturists and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners
- Nutrition services

Our practitioners regularly collaborate where appropriate to help patients achieve better outcomes. We encourage communication between practitioners and with GPs, specialists and other healthcare providers involved in a patient's care.

A wide-ranging and interesting caseload

Our clinic sees a broad range of patients, from active individuals and athletes through to people requiring rehabilitation following injury or managing chronic health conditions.

Patients may include

- Private patients
- Sports and musculoskeletal injuries
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Medicare/CDMP patients
- WorkCover patients
- DVA patients
- NDIS participants
- Third-party and insurance patients

There is plenty of variety for a clinician who enjoys problem solving and managing interesting cases.

Professional development and mentoring

We value clinicians who are curious and want to continue improving.

Within the clinic, there are opportunities for:

- Clinical discussion and mentoring
- Collaboration with experienced practitioners
- Continuing professional development

- Sharing knowledge across disciplines
- Developing areas of special clinical interest

Additional postgraduate training or qualifications are welcomed.

About you

We would love to hear from you if you:
- Hold current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Have an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation
- Enjoy working collaboratively with other health professionals
- Communicate well with patients, GPs, specialists and other practitioners
