The position of Physiotherapist Senior Rehabilitation(Orthopaedics) will deliver high level physiotherapy orthopaedic and rehabilitation clinical services for children with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, limb difference, cerebral palsy (CP) and like conditions as part of the interdisciplinary team within the state-wide role of the Queensland Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (QPRS), within a tertiary paediatric hospital.

About The Role In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values .

Your contribution will include

Clinical Practice

- Deliver high level physiotherapy orthopaedic and rehabilitation clinical services including clinical application of 3DGA findings for children undergoing complex orthopaedic procedures and other specialised interventions within the statewide role of the Queensland Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (QPRS) and within a tertiary paediatric hospital in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with minimal direct clinical supervision.

- Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice using valid and reliable evidence.

Communication / Team Participation

- Provide high level clinical advice on orthopaedic and rehabilitation physiotherapy services including musculoskeletal surveillance and gait analysis to diverse stakeholders.

- Actively contribute to service and caseload management and planning within the interdisciplinary team.

Leadership / Service Improvement

- Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic clinical service areas.

- Provide leadership by actively participating in initiating, developing and implementing quality,



research and service improvement activities particularly for the musculoskeletal surveillance and orthopaedic rehabilitation caseload.
