Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Planning & Trading Account Manager with a strong foundation across traditional media, client servicing and campaign management, who can confidently work across both planning and buying.

This role will support a portfolio of high-profile clients across healthcare and purpose-led brands, including a large-scale national healthcare account and a brand-led organisation focused on driving meaningful behavioural change. The role offers the opportunity to work across significant media budgets and a broad channel mix including TV, BVOD, SVOD, radio, OOH and digital.

We’re looking for someone who can think critically, communicate confidently and take ownership of client briefs from initial planning through to execution and reporting . You’ll work closely with clients, media partners and internal specialists to develop and deliver integrated media strategies, while managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

The role provides a high level of autonomy, with the opportunity to act as a key client contact, lead WIPs and presentations, identify commercial opportunities and contribute to the ongoing growth of the accounts. You’ll also have the opportunity to work across exciting partnerships and innovative media activations, alongside a collaborative team that values learning, experimentation and new ideas.

What will your day to day look like?

- Support the Director in driving strategic thinking and connecting media implementation to consumer insights.
- Lead end-to-end media planning and trading across all channels, ensuring rigour and accuracy throughout the process.
- Champion best practice in media negotiation, buying, and implementation within the team.
- Help foster a high-performing, proactive team culture that values innovation and accountability.
- Oversee team WIPs,



manage workflow allocation, and escalate key issues as needed.
- Lead the development of media plans from strategy through to execution, ensuring clear alignment to client goals.
- Manage key client relationships, delivering high-quality, insight-driven work and campaign reporting.
- Identify commercial opportunities and support the growth of client investment beyond the brief.
- Mentor junior team members, overseeing training, development, and performance tracking.
- Stay on top of industry trends and actively share relevant insights with the wider team.

What will set you up for success?

- Strong client and media relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and lead conversations
- Deep understanding of all media channels and proven ability to turn channel strategies into actionable and effective media plans.
- Advanced negotiation and media buying skills, with strong knowledge of the local media landscape.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and managing workloads across a team.
- Solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Passion for learning and growing within a dynamic media environment.
