The Chance

Core Crew is looking for experienced Plant Operators with a minimum of 2 years’ mine site experience to join our team, working FIFO from Perth to mining operations across Western Australia.

You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant and production equipment, helping our clients meet their production targets while maintaining the highest safety standards.

What the Role Entails

- Operate mobile plant and production equipment such as haul trucks, excavators, dozers, loaders and graders.
- Carry out pre-start checks and report any faults or defects promptly.
- Work to production plans and follow instructions from supervisors and site personnel.
- Follow all site safety procedures, including fatigue management and traffic management plans.
- Maintain accurate records, including pre-start checklists and shift reports.




- Contribute to a positive safety culture and work well as part of a team.
- Travel FIFO from Perth to mine sites throughout Western Australia.

What You Will Need

- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating mobile plant on a mine site.
- Relevant RII units of competency and verifiable tickets for the equipment you operate.
- Multi-skilled across a range of equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong commitment to safety and working to procedures.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Willingness to work FIFO rosters and remote site conditions.
- Ability to pass site medicals and drug and alcohol testing.
