Solid Plasterer – Permanent Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Solid Plasterer to join our team on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager, you will carry out solid plastering and rendering work across commercial sites.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling and applying suitable base coats.
- Position and secure corner beads and other plastering accessories.
- Mix and apply plaster, cement and render using appropriate mixing ratios and application methods.
- Screed, float and finish surfaces to achieve the required levels, alignment and finish.
- Plumb and straighten corners, angles, walls and ceilings.
- Apply white set, acrylic, sand finish and render systems.
- Produce decorative textures and finishes as required.
- Check completed work for quality and compliance with project specifications and applicable building requirements.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.




- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications, experience and skills
- A trade qualification in Solid Plastering or a closely related field.
- At least one year of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience as a Solid Plasterer on residential and/or commercial projects.
- A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Demonstrated skills in floating, white set application, acrylic finishes and sand finish techniques.
- Sound knowledge of plastering materials, mixing ratios and application methods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A valid Australian driver’s licence is preferred.

Employment conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position based at project sites across Perth. Work is generally Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required. Applicable overtime, penalties and allowances will be paid in accordance with the relevant award or industrial instrument.
