The role leads initiatives to strengthen local manufacturing, manages local content obligations under the Local Jobs First Act 2003, and identifies opportunities to increase local supply chain capability.
Key responsibilities
- The role works closely with rolling stock project teams, manufacturers, industry representatives and government agencies to improve processes and ensure local content requirements are met.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence with no restrictions that would prevent you from performing the requirements of the role.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
What you need
- Qualifications and experience.
- Tertiary qualifications would be well regarded.
