Pool Service Technician

Full-Time | Residential & Commercial Pools

About the role

We’re looking for a switched-on, hands-on Pool Service Technician to join our fast-paced team. This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck doing the same thing every day. You’ll look after both residential and commercial pools while also diagnosing faults, repairing equipment and completing new equipment installations.

You’ll be trusted to take ownership of your jobs, communicate confidently with customers and make sure every pool you leave is safe, clean and operating as it should.

Experience in the pool industry is highly regarded, but we’re also interested in mechanically minded people with strong practical skills and the right attitude.

Key responsibilities

- Service residential and commercial pools, including water testing, chemical balancing, vacuuming, filter cleaning and general maintenance
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot pool equipment and water-quality issues
- Repair and install equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators, heaters and robotic/suction cleaners
- Advise customers on water quality, equipment condition and recommended follow-up work
- Identify opportunities for repairs, upgrades and preventative maintenance
- Complete accurate job notes, water-test records and photos in our field system before leaving each site
- Manage your daily schedule and travel efficiently
- Keep your service vehicle clean, organised, stocked and roadworthy
- Handle and transport pool chemicals safely and correctly
- Treat every customer's home, business and equipment with care and respect





What we're looking for

We want someone who can take ownership of their work and takes pride in doing the job properly.

You’ll ideally have

- Pool servicing, maintenance, plumbing, mechanical, electrical or similar trade experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working with pumps, filters, chlorinators and other mechanical equipment
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently and make sensible decisions in the field
- Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- A solid work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
- A current Australian driver's licence
- The physical ability to work outdoors and safely handle pool equipment and chemicals
