Lead the operations and performance of our Portland practice.

Chiropractic Life is a national group of chiropractic practices committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to take ownership of the daily operation and performance of our Portland practice.

This is a genuine management position combining team leadership, operational accountability and hands-on practice support. You will lead the practice team, monitor performance and ensure the practice consistently meets company, service and commercial expectations.

The role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and supported by our Head Office team, you will be responsible for:

Practice leadership and operations

- Leading the practice team and maintaining clear standards and accountability

- Managing rosters, attendance, leave, workflow and daily practice coverage

- Supporting the Chiropractor and maintaining an efficient flow of practice members

- Resolving operational issues and implementing company systems and procedures

- Supporting Chiropractic Assistant and reception duties when required

Practice performance

- Monitoring bookings, cancellations, appointment utilisation and practice-member retention

- Supporting reactivation and new practice-member conversion

- Monitoring financial and operational performance against agreed targets

- Identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement actions

- Preparing accurate and timely reports for Head Office

People and practice management

- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and employee performance management

- Managing practice-member enquiries, concerns, complaints and service recovery

- Overseeing payments, banking, reconciliations, accounts and expense control

- Managing stock, suppliers, equipment,



facilities and general practice requirements

- Maintaining accurate records and high standards of presentation, privacy, safety and compliance

About you

You will be a confident and capable manager who can lead people, make decisions and take ownership of practice performance.

To be considered, you will have:

- At least one year of experience as a Practice Manager

- Demonstrated experience leading and managing employees

- Strong organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills

- Confidence managing competing operational priorities

- Experience monitoring performance and holding employees accountable

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Sound financial and commercial awareness

- Experience preparing reports and working with performance data
- A skilled and practical approach to resolving workplace and service issues

- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems

The ability to work independently while maintaining close communication with Head Office A willingness to remain hands-on and assist with reception and practice duties when required

Experience in chiropractic, allied health, medical or another healthcare environment will be highly regarded.
