We're seeking a Principal Environmental Engineer to join our HSE team in Perth and provide environmental engineering leadership across our operations and development activities.
In this senior technical role, you'll act as the environmental engineering subject matter expert across INPEX Australia, partnering with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to support environmental performance, manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
What you'll be doing
- Providing environmental engineering expertise across operations and projects.
- Leading environmental engineering studies, assessments and technical programs.
- Supporting environmental risk management and regulatory compliance activities.
- Assessing environmental impacts associated with design and operational changes.
- Collaborating with internal teams, contractors and consultants to drive best-practice environmental outcomes.
- Influencing key business decisions through technical advice and environmental leadership.
What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from professionals with:
- Environmental engineering experience within energy, resources, infrastructure or other complex industrial environments.
- Knowledge of environmental regulatory frameworks and environmental risk management principles.
- Experience providing technical advice within operational and/or project environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
