TSS is recruiting multiple Process Technicians for an established WA iron ore mining and processing operation.

We're open to different levels of processing experience. Experienced Process Technicians and Plant Operators are encouraged to apply, but previous processing experience isn't essential. We will also consider people with established FIFO mining experience who have the right work ethic, reliability and aptitude to develop into the role.

About the Company

Our client is an established WA mining and processing operation, producing a high-grade iron ore product through a large-scale, technically complex processing facility.

The operation incorporates mining, processing, rail and port functions, supported by substantial site infrastructure.

The site has a well-established camp with high-speed internet, gym, pool and wet mess, with approximately 5 minutes from the airport to camp and a further 5 minutes from camp to site.

The Role

Working as part of the processing team, you'll be involved in the safe operation and monitoring of a large-scale mineral processing plant.

Day to day, this can include:

- Operating processing equipment across crushing, grinding, magnetic separation, thickening, filtration and associated circuits
- Completing plant inspections, monitoring equipment and responding to process issues, breakdowns and blockages
- Undertaking isolations, permits and other activities required to safely operate and maintain the plant
- Working across pumps, conveyors, feeders, screens, crushers, mills,



cyclones and other fixed plant equipment
- General plant housekeeping and working closely with maintenance, control room and other members of the processing team

About You Previous experience as a Process Technician or Plant Operator within iron ore, gold, nickel, copper, lithium, mineral sands or another mineral processing environment will be highly regarded.

Processing experience, however, isn't essential. We are also interested in people who already have FIFO mining experience and understand what working and living on site involves.

For those coming from another area of mining, we're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

- A strong employment history and longevity with previous employers
- Experience working safely around fixed or mobile plant and machinery
- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn
- Comfort undertaking physical work, inspections and housekeeping
- Experience with permits, isolations, pre-starts and site safety systems
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a crew
- Current LF Forklift Licence – essential
- Additional mobile plant tickets and experience, including skid steer, Bobcat and ITC, will be well regarded.
