We are a leading Australian retailer of premium tools and consumables looking for an autonomous, driven Procurement Officer to join our growing team of 6. If you’re a problem solver who knows how to navigate international markets and streamline logistics, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Work autonomously and be responsible for purchasing items and materials from local (Australian) and international suppliers.

- Seek suppliers through online ecommerce websites.

- Coordination of logistics

- Liaising with customs broker and freight forwarder re shipments, custom clearance and delivery.

- Review our existing product offering and identify sales opportunities by introducing recent products currently not available in the current range.

- Communicating with internal stakeholders regarding the status of shipments (warehouse, product and sales teams).





- Completing other administrative tasks on an ad-hoc basis.

Essential Qualities

- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role

- Experience in the hardware or the automotive industry is preferred

- Proven ability to prioritise many tasks at once through effective problem solving and strong organisational skills

- Strong interpersonal skills and experience developing key relationships

- Advanced experience in Excel

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
