This established and highly regarded organisation is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their procurement team in a permanent capacity. Working across a diverse portfolio of goods and services procurement activities, you will play a key role in delivering strategic procurement outcomes while supporting stakeholder and supplier relationships.

Your new role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement and contract management activities across a broad range of procurement categories. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will provide expert procurement advice, lead sourcing activities, and ensure procurement processes align with organisational frameworks and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing end-to-end procurement activities, including market approaches, RFQs, RFTs and contract negotiations
- Developing sourcing strategies and conducting tender evaluations
- Preparing procurement documentation and contract agreements
- Managing supplier relationships and leading supplier performance reviews
- Developing and implementing contract management plans
- Monitoring supplier performance against agreed KPIs
- Managing contract variations, extensions and commercial negotiations




- Providing procurement and contract management advice to business stakeholders
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and procurement best practice
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior procurement team members

What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement and contract management, including leading tender processes, evaluations and contract negotiations. You will possess strong supplier and stakeholder management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a solid understanding of procurement governance and probity requirements. Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Commerce or Business are highly regarded, with CIPS certification viewed favourably. What you'll get in return
