About the role

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and self-motivated Production & Facilities Cleaner to support our biotechnology manufacturing and operational facilities across our Bulimba and Morningside sites. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supporting production activities, assisting with logistics and yard maintenance, and ensuring facilities remain safe, organised and compliant.

Moregate Biotech is a global leader in the manufacturing, marketing and supply of specialty biological products used in human and veterinary vaccine, pharmaceutical, diagnostic and research industry sectors. This role will work across both our Bulimba and Morningside location, this is a permanent full-time role.

This position requires flexibility, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work independently while supporting operational teams.

A day in the life……..

- Perform housekeeping duties across sites, including internal and external premises.
- Clean production areas as required.
- Recycle cardboard boxes and chiller materials.
- Complete laundry tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Clean floors, covings and windows following production and filtration activities.
- Assist with general production activities as directed.
- Ensure production and loadout areas are maintained to GMP and site standards.
- Assist with Carton assembly, Shipment preparation, Pick-ups and deliveries, Labelling activities




- Provide general operational support as required.

About You

- Ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, cleaning and manual handling.
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
- Current driver's licence (preferred).

Desirable

- Experience working in manufacturing, biotechnology, food processing, pharmaceutical or regulated production environments.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or production support roles.
