We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Production / Machine Operator to join our permanent full time team. No prior experience is required—we provide full, hands-on training from day one!
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Location: 24 Peachtree Road (15-minute walk from Penrith train station)
In this role, you will safely and efficiently operate production machinery, monitor output, and help us maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency.
What you'll be doing:
- Operate Machinery: Run production equipment smoothly following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor & Adjust: Keep an eye on production lines, make minor operational adjustments, and prevent bottlenecks.
- Quality Control: Inspect raw materials and finished goods to ensure everything meets quality guidelines.
- Troubleshoot: Identify basic equipment issues, clear routine jams, and report major maintenance needs.
- Maintain Workspace: Keep your area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Log Data: Accurately record production counts and shift notes.
Requirements (What You Must Have):
- Eligibility for permanent full-time employment (38 hours/week).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to a safety-first workplace.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 20kg.
- A reliable work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Desirable (Nice-to-Haves — Not Required):
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with hand tools.
- Forklift license.
- Experience entering data into digital production logs or inventory systems.
