You will use MIG welding equipment and air tools to assemble and finish pressed metal door frames.
Key responsibilities
- Assembling and MIG welding metal door frame components
- Using air tools to dress welds and prepare frames for finishing
- Following job sheets, dimensions and manufacturing instructions
- Checking frames for accuracy, squareness and finish
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area
About you
- MIG welding experience preferred, although training will be provided to a suitable candidate
- Positive attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision once trained
- Reliability, a willingness to learn and a cooperative approach
- A commitment to safe use of welding equipment and tools
- Previous experience in metal fabrication or door frame manufacturing would be an advantage
