THE ROLE
n
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of advanced rigging and lifting activities, working alongside experienced site teams to ensure equipment and materials are safely and efficiently moved, installed and positioned.
n
Typical duties may include:
n

- Carrying out advanced rigging and lifting activities
n
- Rigging and dogging heavy equipment, structures and components
n
- Assisting with equipment installation, dismantling and relocation
n
- Working with cranes, lifting equipment and associated rigging gear
n
- Conducting pre-start inspections and checking lifting equipment
n
- Selecting appropriate lifting equipment and rigging methods
n
- Reading and interpreting lifting plans and relevant documentation
n
- Working closely with crane operators, trades and site personnel
n
- Ensuring all lifting activities are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
n
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
- Relevant Advanced Rigging qualification/licence
n
- Previous experience within mining, resources, construction or heavy industry
n
- Demonstrated experience with complex rigging and lifting activities
n
- Strong understanding of lifting procedures and safe work practices
n
- Ability to read and understand lifting plans
n
- Strong commitment to safety
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
- Reliable and qualified approach to work
n
- Current relevant tickets and competenciesAbility to pass site medical and drug & alcohol screening
