Diesel Fitter – Commissioning & Return to Service (HME) n

Joyce Mechanical Services is looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our Mackay team on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster.

n

You'll work from our purpose-built Mackay workshop on major HME rebuilds, with opportunities to head onsite and support machines before and after rebuild.

n

THE ROLE n

You'll get involved across the full lifecycle of our rebuild and maintenance work, including:

n

- n

Major HME and bare chassis rebuilds

n
- n

Demobilisation and preparation of machinery for transport

n
- n

Onsite maintenance and post-rebuild support

n
- n

Diagnostics, troubleshooting and fault finding

n
- n





Supporting machines as they're returned to service

n
- n

General HME maintenance and repairs

n

n

It's a role for someone who enjoys fixing things, solving problems and seeing a job through, rather than doing the same task every swing.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR n

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their trade and can be trusted to get the job done properly.

You'll need:

n

Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent

n
- n

HME maintenance experience

n
- n

Bare chassis rebuild experience highly regarded

n
- n

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

n
- n

Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

n
- n

Ability to work independently when required

n
- n

A practical, solutions-focused attitude

n
- n

Strong commitment to safety and quality

n
- n

Current mine site inductions highly regarded

n
