About the Opportunity

As the Project Management Advisor, you will drive the consistent implementation and continuous improvement of Council’s Project Management Framework, support the planning and delivery of strategic and high-complexity projects, and build organisational capability through coaching, training and governance. This is an exciting opportunity for a project management professional who enjoys influencing outcomes, improving systems and partnering with stakeholders to deliver meaningful community outcomes.

What you will bring

Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

- Qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline

- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and principles, with the ability to apply them across a diverse portfolio of capital, operational and strategic projects.

- Experience developing, monitoring and reporting on project and capital works programs, including budgeting, forecasting, financial control and performance evaluation.

- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and build effective partnerships across all levels of an organisation.

- Demonstrated experience in compliance, audit, quality assurance and continuous improvement, supported by strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management software and advanced Microsoft Excel
- A current Driver's Licence
- A current and satisfactory national Police Check, or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.

Salary and conditions





The position is classified within Band 7 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $108,138.16 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
