Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join the business and play a pivotal role in the planning, procurement and delivery of major data centre developments. The organisation's mission is focused on building an interconnected network of resilient data centres that improve connectivity, reduce costs and support economic growth across Australia.

Your new role

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of multiple project streams across the development and delivery lifecycle. This role will suit a commercially astute Project Manager with strong experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial or mission-critical projects.

You will be responsible for driving procurement, commercial outcomes, stakeholder management and project delivery activities to ensure key milestones are achieved on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

- Lead the procurement and management of long lead-time equipment, ensuring project schedules remain on track
- Coordinate supplier engagement and secure competitive quotations for critical project packages
- Manage project programmes and integrate procurement timelines into overall delivery schedules
- Represent the developer throughout Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) processes, providing commercial oversight and driving value engineering initiatives
- Review and challenge cost estimates to maximise commercial outcomes and improve budget accuracy
- Manage consultant tenders, design development processes and Design & Construct procurement activities




- Drive cost optimisation strategies while maintaining quality, operational performance and project objectives
- Leverage technology and emerging AI tools to improve project efficiency, delivery outcomes and cost control
- Lead subdivision, easement and land development workstreams through to successful registration and completion
- Manage utility and services relocation projects, coordinating authorities, contractors and consultants
- Oversee lease negotiations, landowner approvals and development consent activities
- Engage with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, authorities and landowners to ensure successful project delivery

What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, infrastructure, industrial, property development or data centre projects
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to review and challenge project costs and procurement strategies
- Experience managing consultants, contractors and complex stakeholder groups
- Knowledge of ECI, Design & Construct procurement and project delivery methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development, subdivision, service relocation or infrastructure-related projects
- Excellent programme management and scheduling capabilities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to drive projects through complex development environments
